The value of visual arts depreciates daily in this part of the world. Sadly, our youths who are expected to hold the heritage of our artistic culture now focus more on other things most of which are irrelevant. Open Space is a new mentoring program designed to kick start the careers of the creative minds who will go on to influence the performance arts of tomorrow. According to the organizers, the James Ene Henshaw Foundation, the program which is also supported by the British Council is a mentoring opportunity for young creative minds to meet with industry professionals and learn skills and strategies to take their career to the next level. The trainings will cover aspect of idea formulation, packaging, branding and marketing and aims to provide performing art startups with the necessary skills to establish a business, run it and make profit from it.
