'OPEN SPACE' SET TO KICK OFF IN CALABAR THIS NOVEMBER,2016.



Open Space is a new mentoring program designed to kick start the careers of the creative minds who will go on to influence the performance arts of tomorrow.

According to the organizers, the James Ene Henshaw Foundation, the program which is also supported by the British Council is a mentoring opportunity for young creative minds to meet with industry professionals and learn skills and strategies to take their career to the next level.

The trainings will cover aspect of idea formulation, packaging, branding and marketing and aims to provide performing art startups with the necessary skills to establish a business, run it and make profit from it.

A call for submissions will soon be out for the first round of projects in November, 2016.Ideas may be in any art form from plays, dance, performance, Poetry to short films.

Successful candidates get to work with established industry professionals, receive N50, 000 and funds towards production costs, plus N50, 000 to the best project
