The Director General of the Cross River State Electrification Agency (SEA), Mr Francis Ekpo welcomed the MD/CEO Rural Electrification Agency Abba Aliyu Aliyu during the weekend in calabar. 

This is a follow up on the courtesy visit earlier last month by the DG SEA to the headquarters of the Rural Electrification Agency in Abuja where Mr Francis Ekpo extended congratulations from the Governor, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Otu to Aliyu, acknowledging his recent appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

The Cross River State Government is steadfast in its dedication to establishing and nurturing a lasting partnership with the agency to ensure efficient service delivery to our state," Ekpo emphasized, highlighting the government's determination to foster a productive and enduring collaboration with the REA to fulfil Governor Bassey Otus people first agenda to light up Cross River.

THE CROSS RIVER STATE GOVERNMENT COLLABORATE WITH OIL PALM GROWERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (OPGAN) TO CREATE THE LARGEST SUSTAINABLE SMALL HOLDERS OIL PALM ECONOMY IN AFRICA In a deliberate and strategic move by the Cross River State Government to invest in the agricultural sector and fulfill and implement its vision, the State Governor, his excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu has accepted to adopt the proposal of the Oil Palm Growers Association of Nigeria (OPGAN) as an immediate initiative to boost agriculture in the state. In a move to propel the state's creative and digital economy, the Cross River State government has partnered with the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) initiative. This collaboration is set to empower Cross River's tech landscape. Great Ogban, Director-General of the Cross River State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (CRSMEDA), highlighted a multifaceted support system. This will encompass training programs, infrastructure development, and resource distribution through starter kits to jumpstart tech ventures. "We're establishing a comprehensive database encompassing MSMEs across various sectors, including creative, digital, agricultural, and manufacturing," said Ogban.
